The Pope in Flames?

Tuesday, October 16, 2007

A flood of people are going online as word about a fiery apparition, that many believe is the late Pope John Paul II, makes its way around the globe.

The pictures were first shown on Vatican TV, and then throughout the day Monday in Italy. The story was shown on 6abc during Good Morning America early Tuesday.

On the left is a photo of a bon fire that was set as part of a ceremony marking the 2nd anniversary of the death of Pope John Paul II. The bonfire was lit April 2, near the Holy Father's birthplace in Wadowice in southern Poland. According to reports, the photos have just recently made their way to the Vatican News Service.

Some people believe it is a message from the pope.
