Demonstrations against Philly's budget cuts

FISHTOWN - November 7, 2008 (WPVI) -- Demonstrations have already begun in Philadelphia, to fight Mayor Michael Nutter's plan to slash city spending and services.

Action News was in Fishtown as one protest poured into the streets outside a firehouse.

While no fire stations will be closed, equipment will go out of service and firefighters citywide will be reassigned.

The people who live nearby told Action News that they wonder if they mayor's budget cuts will compromise their safety.
