Bank robbery, carjacking in Limerick

The FBI is looking for a man who robbed a bank, then committed a carjacking Wednesday morning in Limerick, Pennsylvania.

It happened at the Harleysville National Bank branch at 260 West Ridge Pike at around 10:30 a.m.

Investigators say a man walked in, jumped over the counter, and grabbed an undetermined amount of cash. He then fled and ran up the street toward coffee shop.

The FBI says he was carrying a black umbrella.

Once there, authorities say, he pulled a man out of his car, then climbed in and drove off.

That car was recovered a half mile from the bank.

The suspect is described as a man of unknown race, approx 5'7", wearing a red hoodie, dark ski-mask, and a dark coat, dark pants, and gloves.

According to the FBI, No weapon was displayed and no injuries were reported in either the bank robbery or car jacking.

Any information should be reported to Limerick Township Police Department or the FBI in Philadelphia at 215-418-4000.
