Man killed in Nicetown shooting

NICETOWN - September 15, 2009 (WPVI) -- A 25-year-old man was shot multiple times in Philadelphi'as Nicetown section overnight.

The shooting happened at about 12:20 a.m. at the intersection of North 17th and West Brostol Streets.

The victim sustained gunshot wounds to the head and chest. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Two men were seen running from the scene, traveling north on 17th Street.

No suspects or motives have yet to be named in this case.
