Shooting leaves 2 dead in Logan

More deadly gun violence erupted on the streets of Philadelphia overnight.

The first victim is identified as 35-year-old Elliot Cartwright. Cartwright was shot at 11:36 Saturday night on the 4900 block of North 11th Street. He was shot once in the head and once in the chest. He was transported to Einstein where he was pronounced dead shortly after midnight.

The second victim, 17-year-old Napoleon Patterson, was shot at approximately 11:40 p.m. on the 4800 block of Warnock Street. He was shot once in the thigh. He was also transported to Einstein and was pronounced dead around 12:30 a.m.

So far, there are no suspects or arrests.
