July 17, 2007 (WPVI) -- An intense blaze near SEPTA's Ivy Ridge station closed a section of the R6 Norristown high-speed rail line on Monday night.
A pile of railroad ties became engulfed in flames.
The fire started shortly before 7:00, and it was under control about 45 minutes later.
No one was hurt.
The R6 line was fully operational by the morning rush hour.
