Rig spills load of trash on Pa. Turnpike in Bensalem

A tractor-trailer carrying a load of trash has overturned on the westbound lanes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

The accident happened just after 6:00 a.m. Wednesday on the Bensalem entrance onto the westbound Turnpike, right where the ramp merges with the highway.

So far, there are no reports of injuries.

The accident was cleared from the scene by 10:30 a.m., but traffic remained congested up for miles. Drivers should expect delays in the area.
