2 tractor trailers, 3 cars in NJ Turnpike crash

DEPTFORD, N.J. - April 2, 2012 (WPVI) -- Two tractor trailers and three passenger vehicles were involved in a crash on Monday afternoon on the New Jersey Turnpike.

The crash happened around 1:00 p.m. in the southbound lanes near mile marker 21.3 in Deptford, Gloucester County.

At least one person was trapped in a vehicle.

The view from Chopper 6 HD showed one tractor trailer with heavy front end damage, while a car had heavy damage to the rear.

There was no word yet on the severity of the injuries.

The crash blocked all lanes for more than 2 hours. The accident has since been cleared.
