We visit two cultural institutions bridging the gap in arts education amidst the school budget crisis, abilingual youth magazine based in Philadelphia inspires students to strive and a Latina law enforcement officer wins gold, while making history here at home. Also on the show, a Columbian salon creates award-winning manicures. We serve up a scoop of Mexico's popular ice cream in unusual flavors like avocado. 6abc's Diego Castellanos previews an upcoming Puerto Rican tradition, and we reflect on the closing of the beloved historic Spanish Chapel La Milagrosa.
