John Clark

John Clark is co-anchor of the ABC11 Eyewitness News morning newscast, weekdays from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m., as well as co-anchor of Eyewitness News at Noon. He also reports periodically for ABC11's evening newscasts and participates in special broadcasts and projects. John joined the Eyewitness News team in 1992.

Prior to his work at ABC11, John anchored and reported news for WKRN-TV in Nashville, Tennessee, WECT-TV in Wilmington, North Carolina, and WFNC-AM in Fayetteville, North Carolina. John started his journalism career in 1981, and he's covered it all: weather emergencies, crime and punishment, political races, consumer issues, human interest stories, even celebrity interviews.

A native of Philadelphia, John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Penn State University. He and his wife, Val, are the proud parents of twins, Jasmine and Matthew. Besides spending time with his family, John enjoys movies and books, and is active in his church.
