Rebecca Hall

Rebecca Hall joined ABC11 Eyewitness News as a general assignment reporter in December 2006. She comes to the Triangle from Albany, NY where she served as a weekend anchor and reporter for WXXA-TV.

While in New York, Rebecca covered a variety of stories, from the ALWAYS interesting politics at the State Capitol, to the capsizing of a tour boat which took the lives of twenty elderly tourists.

Prior to working at WXXA-TV Rebecca also worked as a reporter, fill-in anchor, and sports anchor for WNYT-TV in Albany, and WKTV-TV in Utica, New York. Rebecca gained valuable experience while working at WNBC-TV in New York City, and WXIA-TV, the NBC affiliate in Atlanta, Georiga. She also anchored and reported for NewSource 15, a CNN affiliate based near Atlanta.

Rebecca attended The University of Georgia on a full academic scholarship. She graduated with degrees in Broadcast News and Sociology. While in college, Rebecca served as a football analyst for the live, weekly football show, "Georgia Gameday." In High School, Rebecca helped create a broadcast news class, where she served as a producer, anchor, reporter, and editor.

Raised near Atlanta, but born in Michigan, Rebecca is an admitted die hard Michigan Wolverine fan! In her free time, Rebecca enjoys watching them dominate the Big Ten, traveling, working out, and spending time with her family.
