Kerith joined the ABC 11 sports team in August 2008.
Kerith feels like she's from everywhere and nowhere. She grew up in an army family. Moving around contributed to her knack for chatting up strangers, who often ask what's up with her name. It's from a book called "The Source" by James Michener. Kerith hated her name growing up because no one put "Kerith" on tiny, personalized license plates for her Huffy bike. Despite the childhood torment and present day typos (Keith? Um, no&) on numerous media passes, Kerith loves being a Kerith.
Don't bother asking her if she's a Duke, UNC or State fan. The only school that has her heart is her alma mater, Washington State University, where she graduated from the Murrow School of Communication with Honors. She still gets a sense of glee whenever the Cougar flag is waved proudly behind the College Gameday crew.
Kerith worked sports in Washington and Idaho before making the 2,400 mile journey to North Carolina for the opportunity to cover some of the best teams in the nation.
When she's not on the sideline or baseline, you'll find Kerith at the gym or a concert. She's a hip-hop and indie music nut.
