Series of accidents stall I-40, U.S. 70 commutes

2 of 8: It was a rough commute for Triangle drivers trying to use Interstate 40 Tuesday morning after a series of accidents caused traffic jams. It began with a crash in the westbound lanes near Aviation Parkway that closed three of four lanes.
