Smithfield police investigate possible double shooting

SMITHFIELD, N.C. (WTVD) -- Police in Smithfield are investigating a shooting. It happened in the 1100-block of Massey Street.

Authorities aren't releasing many details at this point but there were possibly two people shot.

One was taken by ambulance to a hospital. The second apparently went to the hospital in a personal car.
