Man killed in Durham shooting

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Police are investigating a shooting Monday afternoon that left one dead.

Officers were called to the Bainbridge Apartments on Bainbridge Dive, off East Cornwallis Road, just before 1 p.m. When they arrived, they found a male in a breezeway who had been shot. He later died.

The man's name was not immediately released.

Shortly after the shooting, police arrested a man nearby and he's being questioned about the shooting.
