CAMP LEJEUNE (WTVD) -- There were some happy reunions and celebrations as Marines came home from Afghanistan. About 150 families have now been reunited at Camp Lejeune.
Marines from the headquarters company of the 8th Marine Regiment arrived home Friday afternoon. They were greeted by loved ones who've waited a year to see them.
The Marines have been in some of the most dangerous regions of Afghanistan providing key support to help front line battalions fight a successful mission.
This was the last wave of Marines from that company to return from overseas. Everyone who left made it back.
