Lacrosse Player's Lawyer May Release DNA Results

Sunday, April 02, 2006

There is new information in the Duke lacrosse rape investigation.

Durham District Attorney Mike Nifong says he will not release the DNA results from the case when they come from the lab.

But Kerry Sutton, one of the player's attorneys, tells Eyewitness News that if they are favorable for her client, she will release the DNA results whenever they are available.

Eyewitness News spoke with the mother of the alleged victim. She said her daughter is out of town.
