Durham Police investigate hit-and-run accident

Durham Police are searching for the hit-and-run driver that injured four people.

Durham Police are investigating a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident that happened around 6:40 p.m. Wednesday.

The accident occurred at N. Miami Boulevard near Fiske Street.

Police say a vehicle was illegally trying to pass another vehicle on the right when it struck another car that was parked on the right shoulder.

There were a total of four injuries with one being critical. They were all transported to Duke Hospital ER.

The driver at fault fled on foot and has not been apprehended at this time.
