RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A man is recovering after he had to jump out of a window during a house fire.
Raleigh firefighters say they were called to the home on Kennington Road around 9 a.m.
Heavy smoke and flames were bellowing from the second floor causing a man inside the home to jump from a bedroom window to escape. He was taken to Wake Med.
Authorities believe the fire was caused by an electrical short.
