Person shot by suspect on bike

  

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Durham police are investigating the city's second shooting in less than four hours.

It happened just after midnight Wednesday. Police say a man was shot at a home on Guthrie Ave. near the intersection of Liberty St.

The victim's girlfriend rushed him to the hospital. There is no word on his condition.

Witnesses say the gunman left the scene on a bicycle.

The other shooting, which has not been connected to the first, happened just after 8 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Queen and Liberty streets.

The victim went to the library for help.

Both of the incidents remain under investigation and police have not named any suspects.
