ROCKY MOUNT (WTVD) -- Rocky Mount police arrested a man Monday for allegedly setting a woman on fire.
Authorities arrested 44-year-old Anthony Earl Brown after they said he poured rubbing alcohol on 37-year-old Martha Alford and threw a match to ignite the liquid.
She was transported to Nash General Hospital, then to the UNC Chapel Hill Burn Center due to the severity of her injuries.
Brown now faces assault charges.
