Tractor mystery solved

SCOTLAND NECK (WTVD) -- The Halifax County Sheriff's Office says a farm tractor has been recovered nearly three years after it was stolen.

A farmer reported the theft in the Scotland Neck area in 2006. In August, the man spotted it in a field and contacted authorities.

Now, 63-year-old Andrew Davis Jr. of the Hobgood area is charged with possession of stolen property.

Bond was set at $20,000. He has a court date next month.
