RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Police are investigating a shooting at an apartment complex near NC State's campus that injured two people.
The incident happened at University Court Tuesday evening. Police say a man struggled with another man while trying to force his way into an apartment.
During the struggle, the gun went off, wounding both people. The gunman, who was shot in the leg, left the scene and was dropped off at WakeMed.
The victim, who is not a NC State student, was shot in the shoulder. He drove himself to a friend's house, called police and also went to WakeMed.
Authorities say they do not believe the men's injuries are life-threatening.
No additional details were released.
