GRANVILLE COUNTY (WTVD) -- Wednesday, officials will hold a press conference to reveal new details about the disappearance of Kelly Currin Morris.
The Granville County mother disappeared more than a year ago.
Sources at the Granville County jail tell ABC11 Eyewitness News that Morris' husband, Scott Morris, is currently in jail and cooperating with police. However officials are not saying why he is being held and what or if he charged with anything.
Authorities had named Scott Morris a person of interest in his wife's disappearance early on in their investigation. In court documents he has said he doesn't know his wife's whereabouts.
Meanwhile, authorities were searching a fox hunting club most of the day Tuesday on Sam Moss Hayes Road in Creedmoor.
The Granville County Sheriff's department searched the Tar River Fox Pen for a second day in a row, but Sheriff Brindell Wilkins is being extremely tight-lipped about details surrounding the search.
One of the owners of the land tells ABC11 that among the foxes and coyotes roaming the grounds, a small team from the sheriff's department has been out there searching for clues in the case of a missing mother of two.
A land owner says he hasn't been told any details about the latest search, but added, "if I did know anything, I was told not to discuss it with anyone."
Morris was last seen Sept. 4, 2008, the same day her home mysteriously caught fire off Tump Wilkins Road in Stem. Her vehicle was discovered less than a mile from her home with her purse, keys and cell phone locked inside.
Investigators have always said an arsonist was responsible for the fire at the Morris' home.
Dozens of volunteers and law enforcement officials have spent the last year searching for Kelly Morris and holding vigils in her honor.
Authorities will hold a press conference at 4 p.m. Wednesday to discuss the case.
