Man critically injured in Rocky Mount shooting

Saturday, November 21, 2009

A Rocky Mount man is in critical condition after being shot early Saturday morning.

Rocky Mount Police say they received a report of shots fired at the corner of Windsor Drive and Marlee Drive just after 5:30am.

When they arrived, police say they located Brian Nicholas Thome, 25, who had been shot multiple times and was lying in the grass at that intersection.

At least three suspects are believed to have been involved in the shooting, two of whom actually fired. Police are looking for three black males who were operating a 1990's model 4-door Toyota Camry.

Anyone with information is asked to call RMPD at 972-1311 or Crime Stoppers at 977-1111.
