SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. (WTVD) -- A Moore County monkey who has been on the loose since Monday finally made his way home.
Toby, a rhesus monkey, turned up on the front porch of a house about a mile away from his home in Southern Pines.
His owners spent the week combing the woods of the nearby Weymouth Preserve looking for him.
Toby appeared to be okay, with only a few cuts and scrapes. He was taken to a vet's office to be checked out.
