RALEIGH (WTVD) -- One of downtown Raleigh's most recognizable buildings is getting a name change. The 19-story building on Wilmington Street is currently known as Two Progress Plaza.
However, Red Hat's CEO is telling the Triangle Business Journal that the building will soon be called Red Hat Tower.
Red Hat is moving downtown from NC State's Centennial Campus.
If its merger with Duke Energy is approved, progress energy will move out of the building. The proposed new mega-utility will be based out of Charlotte.
