RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Police at NC State have issued a crime alert after a student was the victim of an attempted robbery.
Luckily, the suspect didn't get away with anything and the student wasn't hurt.
It happened Wednesday night on Founders Drive near Nelson Hall. Police said the suspect implied he had a weapon but didn't show one. The student managed to get away and the suspect left empty-handed.
Police described the suspect as 6-foot 2 inchest tall. He was wearing a dark hoodie, with dark jeans and white shoes.
It's unclear what the suspect's relationship may be to the university. Anyone with information is urged to call campus police.
