Bus fire ties up I-95 traffic

A bus fire shut down a portion of southbound Interstate 95 near micro Friday evening.

The activity bus from a high school in Staten Island, N.Y., was on its way to Myrtle Beach for a baseball tournament when the fire broke out.

Everyone managed to get off the bus before it burst into flames. No injuries were reported.

Traffic on I-95 was backed up for about three hours while firefighters put out the flames.

The school is working to get another bus for the students.
