HENDERSON, N.C. (WTVD) -- Henderson police have made an arrest in the shooting death of a 14-year-old boy.
Police said they arrested 20-year-old Arthur Thomas Peace Jr. and charged him with one count of first-degree murder.
The shooting happened in the 1300 block of South William Street in Henderson around 3 a.m. Wednesday.
Police said Clayton Batchelor Jr. was found lying on the side of the road with a gunshot wound.
Peace is being held without bond in the Vance County Jail. He'll appear in court on July 13.
