DURHAM (WTVD) -- Police have issued a crime alert for a popular Triangle jogging trail.
Durham police said there have been two attacks on the American Tobacco Trail in the past ten days. In each case, a group of teenagers have hit the victim with a stick.
The latest attack happened Monday evening on the trail between Cana and Pilot Streets.
Police have increased both bike and foot patrols along the trail.
