7 year old on bike struck in Johnston County

JOHNSTON COUNTY (WTVD) -- Officials in Johnston County said a child riding his bicycle was struck by a minivan just before 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The accident happened in the 3100 block of Powhatan Road in Clayton.

A 7-year-old boy was taken to Wake Med and is currently in critical condition.
