Police search for convenience store robber

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Fayetteville police are searching for the woman responsible for robbing a convenience store at gunpoint.

Detectives said a female entered the Kangaroo store on Yadkin Road just after 1 a.m. Saturday.

Officials described the suspect as a white female with blonde hair. The woman is believed to be about 5'6" tall with a medium to heavy build. At the time of the robbery, she was wearing a black t-shirt, khaki shorts, black shoes, and a green knit hat.

The Fayetteville Police Department has posted a video of the robbery on their Youtube page.
