FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Police are investigating the theft of close to 10,000 pounds of batteries from a construction site over the weekend.
About 100 batteries were taken from vehicles ranging from semi-trucks, backhoes, illuminated signs, and other construction equipment parked at the I-295 construction site located in the 6400 block of Bragg Boulevard.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact Detective Bartay with the Fayetteville Police Department at (910) 433-1618 or call Crime Stoppers at (910) 483-TIPS (8477).
