One dead, one injured in Goldsboro stabbings

One man was killed and another injured after being stabbed in Goldsboro early Saturday morning, according to police.

The two victims arrived at Wayne Memorial Hospital with stab wounds around 4 a.m.

Officials said 37-year-old Vanico Perkins, of Dudley, was pronounced dead at the hospital, while 35-year-old Brian Wynn, of Goldsboro, underwent emergency surgery.

Police said the two victims arrived at the hospital in separate vehicles, but no further details have been released.
