WILMINGTON, N.C. (WTVD) -- Shooting for Iron Man 3 is on hold in Wilmington because the film's star is injured.
Marvel Studios says Robert Downey Jr. suffered an ankle injury on the set. It happened while he was performing a stunt.
There will be a short delay while he recovers.
Iron Man 3 started shooting in North Carolina in June.
