RAEFORD, N.C. (WTVD) -- Hoke County deputies are searching for several suspects involved in an early morning homicide.
Officials responded to a shooting on Doc Brown Road in Raeford just after 1:30 a.m. Sunday. They found 33-year-old Royal Wyatt Jr., of Raeford, dead from a gunshot wound to the head.
Investigators said Wyatt was assaulted by several suspects prior to the shooting, but they have not yet determined a motive.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hoke County Sheriff's Office.
