FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Residents of Fayetteville were left without power after a major electrical outage.
Between 15,000 and 20,000 were left in the dark in Fayetteville when the power went out around 4:20 p.m.
PWC said a power safety switch at a substation malfunctioned.
Power was out for about an hour and a half.
