Get-away vehicle identified in bank robbery

Monday, November 05, 2012

Police are releasing a new clue in a recent Durham bank robbery.

Investigators said a late 1990s or early 2000s Honda was the get-away vehicle used in the robbery of the Wells Fargo branch on Foushee Street on October 25.

Police said a guy armed with a gun entered the bank and demanded money.

The suspect fled in the car, which was driven by a second person.

They were last seen driving north through a shopping center on Avondale Drive.
