Raleigh police investigate shooting

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Police responded to the scene of a shooting on North Carver Street near New Bern Avenue Monday evening.

Police told ABC11 that someone shot into a crowd of people around 9:45 p.m.

One person was shot in the leg. That person was not seriously injured.

New Bern Avenue was closed between Poole Road and Raleigh Boulevard while police investigated.

There have been no arrests at last report.
