WEST PHILADELPHIA - November 22, 2012 -- Police are investigating the Thanksgiving morning murder of a man inside a West Philadelphia hotel.
It was around 10:40 a.m. when the police were called to the report of a shooting at the Blue Moon Hotel, located on the 5100 block of Westminster Avenue.
When officers arrived they found a 33-year-old man who had been shot once in the back.
The victim was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead at 11:11.
The suspected shooter fled the scene on foot. Homicide detectives are investigating.
