Authorities are investigating an accident that killed one person and injured another in Angier Wednesday.
ANGIER, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Highway Patrol is investigating an accident that killed one person and injured another in Angier Wednesday.
It happened around 10 a.m. in the 5000 block of Old Fairground Road.

Troopers said 22-year-old Samantha Jayne Bonventre ran off the roadway and struck a tree with her car. She died as a result of her injuries.
A passenger, 23-year-old James Theodore Murphy, was injured and transported to WakeMed. The extent of his injuries is unknown.
