Fayetteville pizza restaurant robbed

Fayetteville police are searching for three suspects wanted in an armed robbery of a pizza restaurant.

Police said the incident happened at Marco's Pizza on the 7800 block of Good Middling Drive Saturday around 12:30 a.m.

According to officials, three armed gunmen rushed into the store demanding money. The cashier was struck during the robbery.

The men left with an undisclosed amount of cash and the cashier's Silverado pickup truck. The truck was later found abandoned on the side of the road.

Authorities said the cashier's injuries are minor.
