Police: Body found in Raleigh was male

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Police continue to investigate the discovery of a body near Rock Quarry Road.

The adult male's body was found in the woods behind the Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion near Tom Gipson Drive on Monday shortly after 3:30 p.m.

The body has not yet been identified. A preliminary investigative does not indicate foul play in the man's death.
