NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA - January 21, 2013 -- Police and federal authorities are looking for the man who pulled off a robbery at a bank in Northeast Philadelphia last week.
The robbery happened at 11:35 a.m. Wednesday at the First Niagara Bank, located at 11730 Bustleton Avenue.
According to police, the suspect entered the bank, approached the counter and presented the teller with a threatening demand note.
The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and then fled on foot south along Bustleton Avenue.
The suspect is described as a black male, 30 to 40 years-of-age, standing 5'9", medium build, and goatee. He was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, tan/khaki pants, and a black baseball hat.
