FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- Police have made an arrest in the death of a man whose body was found near Commerce Street January 29.
Lindsey Lamark McDowell, 19, is charged with first-degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Detectives say McDowell is responsible for the death of 36-year-old Damon Terrell Bryant.
Bryant was found shot to death in the area of Robeson Street near Commerce Street.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the murder is asked to contact Detective Ballard with the Homicide Unit of the Fayetteville Police Department at (910) 549-7326 or CrimeStoppers at (910) 483-TIPS (8477).
