ABC11 goes dark for Time Warner customers

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Thousands of viewers around the Triangle and Fayetteville were unable to watch ABC11 because of a technical problem at Time Warner Cable Wednesday morning.

The problems began around 4:30 a.m. and lasted through 7.

Time Warner said engineers were doing maintenance on the cable system that didn't go as expected. It apologized for the outage.
