Man allegedly assaulted Glenview boy

  

February 18, 2013 (CHICAGO) -- A Chicago man has been arrested and charged for allegedly assaulting a 12-year-old suburban boy.

Glenview police took Ryan Ruiz into custody last Friday at his mother's home in Chicago.

Authorities say the assault happened back in May 2012.

According to reports, prosecutors say Ruiz met the boy in an online chat room, and Ruiz convinced the boy to meet him in a Glenview park.
