Police say they found a house and four vehicles hit by bullets from a handgun Wednesday morning Some residents in a Durham neighborhood woke up Wednesday morning to their house and vehicles being hit by bullets.

Some residents in a Durham neighborhood got a rude awakening Wednesday morning when their house and vehicles were hit by bullets.

Around 7 a.m., police officers were called to the Trinity Park community after a home and four vehicles along Watts Street at Lamond Avenue had been shot - apparently with a handgun.

No one was injured, but the vehicles' windows were shattered.

Witnesses reported seeing a yellow Nissan Xterra fleeing the scene after the shootings.

Authorities are still searching for the alleged gunman.
