UNC student robbed on Chapel Hill campus

Officials at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill are warning students after a reported strong arm robbery on campus overnight.

It happened around 1 a.m. Friday in the Coker Arboretum, near E. Cameron Aveune.

UNC's Department of Public Safety sent out an alert after a student said the four men involved in the robbery were last seen running north towards campus.

The suspects reportedly did not have weapons. They were last seen wearing T-shirts and jeans.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Department of Public Safety at (919) 962-8100.
